On 20 July, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) issued the Guidelines on Promoting the Building of Product Quality Assurance System for Exported Electronic Cigarettes, and four companies, SMISS, KANGER, UWELL, and HOSTO have expressed their support.

On 20 July, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) issued the Guidelines on Promoting the Building of Product Quality Assurance System for Exported Electronic Cigarettes, and four companies, SMISS, KANGER, UWELL, and HOSTO have expressed their support.

On 20 July, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) issued the Guidelines on Promoting the Construction of Product Quality Assurance System for Exported Electronic Cigarette Products (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”). The release of the Guidelines is aimed at promoting the rule of law and standardisation of the development of the e-cigarette industry, effectively preventing risks in the export of e-cigarettes trade, as well as improving the quality and safety of exported e-cigarette products.

 

Upon the release of the Guidelines, four enterprises, SMISS, KANGER, UWELL and HOSTO expressed their support for the Guidelines and would strictly comply with the relevant laws and regulations.

 

SMISS expressed:

“We firmly support the promotion of the construction of product quality assurance system for exported electronic cigarettes, and will set an example by actively docking the international advanced technology, rules and standards. KANGER expressed:

UWELL and HOSTO expressed:

“Strongly support and respond to Guidelines.”

 

At present, a number of enterprises are also contacting 2FIRSTS and have expressed their support for the Guidelines.

 

In addition, 2FIRSTS has also invited lawyers from the tobacco industry to interpret the Guidelines, and will be the first to release the interpretation content to help enterprises understand the details of the Guidelines, so stay tuned.
